I’m part of the investment team, focused on sourcing and underwriting early-stage startups. I invest primarily in technologies driving positive transformation for people and the planet, with a strong emphasis on energy and industrial applications. Beyond investing, I actively support our portfolio companies, with a particular passion for building strong processes and scalable operating setups — creating the backbone for sustainable growth and long-term success.
I grew up in Germany in a globally rooted family, which shaped my appreciation for diverse perspectives. I began my career in M&A advisory for renewable energy assets, gaining early exposure to Europe’s energy transition and working on some of the first large-scale corporate power purchase agreements. To deepen my understanding of the broader societal implications of these transitions, I studied Environmental Policy and Climate Justice in New York. I later joined the founding team of AENU, an impact fund in Berlin, working closely with early-stage founders, before moving into company building at energy tech startup ecoplanet. That operator experience reaffirmed my passion for working with founders and ultimately led me back to investing at noa.
The built world is one of the most powerful levers for systemic change. As a fully man-made environment, it can be fundamentally rethought — and redesigned — to deliver both environmental impact and human wellbeing at scale. Given its outsized footprint, the opportunity for positive change and transformation is significant. I am excited to partner with founders who are building technologies that materially reshape how the built world is designed, operated, and sustained.
I love creating, whether that’s hosting dinner parties, building furniture, writing and illustrating a children’s book, or designing art. Community is equally important to me, from family and friends to sports and social initiatives. Having recently moved to London, I’m excited to further explore where to best engage locally.
If you combine New York’s creative energy, Zurich’s clean water, Copenhagen’s relaxed innovation, and the architecture of Paris, Vienna, and London, you get my ideal city. I chose London, for the second time, because of its architectural beauty, ambitious and creative work culture, and uniquely open, social community.
