what is your role at noa?

I am the Marketing & Community Manager at noa, responsible for content and event production, brand and marketing, and communications, as well as supporting with IR and fundraising.

what is your backstory?

I was born and raised in London and earned two degrees in History, specialising in the early-modern European witch trials. After realising I couldn’t make a career out of witchcraft, I had a brief stint in recruitment before joining Founders Forum - a global network of tech entrepreneurs, corporate CEOs, VC partners, and thought leaders. I spent eight years running the Founders Forum community and was responsible for its growth and engagement. Having interacted with so many successful and inspiring founders and investors during my time there, I decided I wanted to delve into the world of venture capital and was very lucky to join the team at noa.

what excites you about built world tech?

What excites me most about built world tech is the huge opportunity to help heal the planet by investing in more sustainable technologies and reducing the environmental impact of human activity. As part of Europe’s largest built world technology fund, I’m thrilled at the prospect of playing a role in creating meaningful social and environmental impact for both the planet and humanity.

what do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I most love spending time with family and friends (especially those with dogs), reading thriller and mystery novels, playing board games and online games like the New York Times Connections, and watching game shows or reality TV. My absolute guilty pleasure is the Real Housewives franchise.

what’s your favourite city and why?

My favourite city is New York - I think it’s impossible to be unhappy in the Big Apple. Seeing the city romanticised in media growing up definitely played a role in my love for it. The food, the people, the energy, the architecture, and the food (again) all combine to form an incredibly powerful and beautiful place.
